Looks Cool!

CeeLite™ is the world's first company to manufacture and market commercially-viable Light Emitting Capacitor (LEC) technology, which is destined to redefine the way lighting is used today! CeeLite's advanced LEC technology turns any surface into a light source. The company's flat lightbulb provides flawless surface illumination as the result of major research and development engineering advancements.

CeeLite's LEC technology has been named one of TIME Magazine's Best Inventions of 2006, Electronic Products Magazine's Product of the Year 2006 and Buildings Magazine's Top Product Picks 2007 in addition to various Product of the Month awards. Ranging in size from cell phones to dry wall, CeeLite LEC technology creates new markets where lighting was previously impossible and replaces traditional lighting where high quality surface illumination is required; in floors, walls, ceilings and within unconventional objects such as sound-activated illuminated drums for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the H&M Madonna massive two-story window display to produce a fully interactive fashion show which lit up NYC's Fifth Avenue and even residential bathroom counter tops. Reminiscent of the launch of fluorescent, halogen and LED, CeeLite's LEC technology is predicted to change the definition of lighting.

Is there an under cabinet lighting application here? or behind glass doors? How do you operate them?

Default Cee Lite uses

To answer your question, It is a low voltage system so you have to have a transformer. Yes you can put it anywhere. It has limits on its out put, but that is dependent on your lighting needs. It is paper thin and can be glued, nailed, velcroed, held in place by glass, pretty much anything. It is very flexible, it can be shaped around poles, corners, etc. Its really neat stuff. I have a ton of ideas for it. I am acctually speaking with the reps about pricing. I have a use in development that will be pretty amazing if I can get it off the ground.

One of the best spplications I have seen was applied behind stained glass. It really gives the glass a nice look, And if you are familier with 3-form, the applications with this product are endless.
